    Using the General Norms for the Liturgical Year and the Calendar as a resource Catechists will
    • understand more fully the entire mystery of Jesus Christ, from his incarnation and birth until his ascension, the day of Pentecost, and the expectation of his return in glory.
    • understand the Church’s Liturgical Calendar as an ever-deepening immersion into the mystery of Jesus Christ
    • relate the cycles of the liturgical year to the Christian faith journey.
    • demonstrate how the cycles of the liturgical year enrich catechesis.
