On Saturday 14th September, the Feast of the Holy Cross, Cardinal Nichols invites everyone to a Eucharistic Festival in the Cathedral, starting with Mass at 12:30pm and finishing around 4pm.

  • 12:30pm Mass celebrated by Bishop Nicholas Hudson
  • Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
  • Procession of the Blessed Sacrament
  • Pontifical Benediction
  • Relic of Bl Carlo Acutis

There will also be sermons on the Blessed Sacrament and the life of Bl Carlo Acutis given by:

  • Bishop Nicholas Hudson, Auxiliary in Westminster
  • Fr Alan Robinson, Rector of the Diocesan Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament at Corpus Christi, Maiden Lane

The Festival will conclude around 4pm. Westminster Cathedral’s usual schedule of Vespers at 5:30pm and the Sung Vigil Mass of Sunday at 6pm will continue uninterrupted.

On Saturday 14th September, the Feast of the Holy Cross, Cardinal Nichols invites everyone to a Eucharistic Festival in the Cathedral, starting with Mass at 12:30pm and finishing around 4pm. The afternoon will include Adoration, Rosary, Confessions and a Procession of the Blessed Sacrament, as well as sermons from Fr Alan Robinson, Rector of the Diocesan Shrine of the Blessed Sacrament, and Bishop Nicholas Hudson, who will impart Pontifical Benediction at the end of the Procession. A relic of Bl Carlo Acutis, whose Canonisation has recently been announced, will also be present.
