St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School collected twelve large boxes and several carrier bags of food for the Bishop Stortford’s Food Bank.
The school Chaplaincy team, comprising of a group of year 6 pupils, successfully organised the huge collection of food at the start of July.
The school has been an ‘official friend’ of the Food Bank for a number of years, raising funds for the organisation. Over a fortnight of hard work, the Chaplaincy Team gathered a wide range of foods which were generously donated by the children and their families.
The school wish to thank everyone involved in this outreach opportunity.
