Thank you to all those who have got in touch with us with offers of support for refugees arriving in the UK. It has been heartening to see the generosity of people’s responses to the migrant crisis, and we hope that we can work together to create communities where all migrants find a warm welcome.
We believe that the best way of preparing for the arrival of Syrian refugees in our communities is to get involved with projects for migrants, refugees and asylum seekers already living in the UK. We have recently written to all parishes and religious congregations in the Diocese of Westminster with information on how to get involved in efforts to alleviate the migrant crisis.
