Lourdes Pilgrimage 2026 | Day six

Time to Read:

1–2 minutes

Today, our pilgrims took part in one of the most anticipated moments of the pilgrimage: the celebration of the Eucharist at the Grotto. For many, this was a deeply moving experience, described by pilgrims as “mesmerising, reflective, and peaceful.”

Following the Mass, the group continued their journey in different ways. Some pilgrims visited Gavarnie, Others gathered for the Sacrament of Reconciliation with Archbishop Richard Moth. In the peaceful surroundings of St.Savine, the Archbishop shared words of encouragement, reminding pilgrims not to be afraid to return to God. He reflected on God’s love and mercy, reassuring them that He does not judge our faults but reaches out to lift us up and welcome us back. His message was simple and powerful: there is no need to feel ashamed, because God always welcomes us with love.

It was another beautiful day of faith, community, and moments to treasure during our Lourdes pilgrimage.
