Lourdes Pilgrimage 2026 | Day five

Time to Read:

1–2 minutes

Day 5 of our pilgrimage to Lourdes was filled with more moments of grace, joy, and quiet reflection.

The day began with an incredible act of service as our Redcaps heroically pushed pilgrims in wheelchairs up the steep hill to Cité Saint-Pierre, often known as the “Cathedral of the Trees.” There, Archbishop Richard Moth celebrated Mass surrounded by nature. It was a wonderful celebration, made even more memorable by the joyful music at the end, and many pilgrims joined in – singing, praying, clapping, and sharing in the joy of the moment together.

The afternoon offered a slower pace as we gathered for the Blessed Sacrament Procession and an hour of Eucharistic Adoration. It was a beautiful opportunity to rest in the Lord’s presence, embracing the silence, prayer, and peace that make Lourdes such a special place.

We continue to pray that, through the intercession of Our Lady of Lourdes, that the Lord will work beautiful miracle snot only in those who come seeking physical healing, but also in each of our hearts and souls.
