On Friday 3rd July, the Diocese of Westminster Education Service hosted the Celebration of Service, an annual event giving thanks for the dedicated work of those retiring from a variety of roles diocesan schools.

The evening began with Mass, celebrated in Westminster Cathedral by Archbishop Richard Moth, followed by a reception at which this year’s recepients were presented with their awards. They were all nominated by their school communities and have served in many different roles, from teachers, teaching assistants and Foundation Governors. Between them they have 1,385 combinded years of service, through which they have all inspired and supported countless young people.
