Following on from the success of the first Flame Congress in 2012, which was the largest ever Catholic Youth event in the UK, the Catholic Youth Ministry Federation (CYMFed) has announced the date on which Flame 2 will be taking place as 7 March 2015 at Wembley Arena.
Flame 2012 saw over 8,500 young Catholics in attendance to celebrate their faith. Speakers included Barry and Margaret Mizen, Olympic gold medallist Jason Gardener and Paschal Uche and the day included music and drama performances. The event was concluded by a period of Eucharistic Adoration led by the Most Rev. Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Westminster.
The event seeks to ignite the flame of faith in young people, encouraging a new personal faith journey. It is a great opportunity to meet other young Catholics from across the country.
