Cardinal Pole Catholic School has been shortlisted for the TES Schools Awards 2024 in the category of Secondary School of the Year.
The TES Schools Awards, selected by a panel of expert judges, honour the best schools and teachers across the country. Cardinal Pole School's nomination reflects its work providing an exceptional learning environment where students thrive academically, socially, and personally.
This is the second time the school has been nominated, adding to the growing list of Catholic schools and teachers that have been recognised for their achievement.
Headteacher, Adam Hall, stated, ‘This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our students, staff, and wider school community. At Cardinal Pole, we are committed to instilling our SOAR values [Service, Opportunity, Aspiration, Reward] in every aspect of school life, empowering our students to succeed and make a positive impact on the world around them.’
The winners will be announced at a prestigious gala awards night on 21st June. This event provides an opportunity to celebrate the exceptional achievements of schools and educators from across the country.
Head student, Oyin, commented, ‘We’re so proud to be student leaders at Cardinal Pole! To be shortlisted for Secondary School of the Year is an amazing reward for the hard work that everyone has put into our community over the years. I feel incredibly lucky to have joined the school in Year 7, and to have grown each year into the person I am today.’
As Cardinal Pole School celebrates its continued success, it remains dedicated to its mission of nurturing, challenging and preparing students to excel in an ever-changing world.
