On the occasion of World Poverty Day 2024 (17th November), the Apostolic Nuncio Miguel Maury Buendía visited East London homelessness charity Providence Row’s kitchen and contributed to the lunch service on Monday, November 18th.
Last year, the Providence Row kitchen served over 15,000 meals to 1,500 people affected by homelessness. The charity also provides services including Advice & Support, Crisis Management, and Employability & Training to help people affected by homelessness build a better future for themselves .
