Staff at the Convent of Jesus and Mary once again finished the Autumn term with an Inset Day rooted in the Catholic faith. Fr Paul Rowan began the day with an inspirational talk, followed by a Q&A about the meaning of the Year of Mercy and how we can make it a reality in our everyday lives.

There were a number of workshops based around key ideas in the Year of Mercy, where staff (teaching and support) came together to plan extracurricular days for students on eight themes including human trafficking, the Holocaust and Misconceptions about the Koran. These themed days will be run for different year groups throughout the Year of Mercy.
