Newman Catholic College and The US Charitable Trust raised £2000 in the last few days of term to buy presents for the most vulnerable families in our community.
Each family received a package of food, toiletries and vouchers. The items were purchased by staff, assembled by students and distributed to the homes of families by our Safer Schools police officers.
This is the fourth year NCC has conducted the ‘Faith in Action’ programme. The school is committed to supporting vulnerable children and their families throughout the year and not just at Christmas.
