Deputy Prime Minister Oliver Dowden visited Sacred Heart Primary School in Bushey in early October. The purpose of his visit was to observe Year 5 pupils taking part in the 'Joy of moving' programme that is delivered by Watford FC Community Sports and Education Trust.

He played a game of dodge ball with the children and spent time in the classroom where the children told him about the importance of healthy eating and exercise.

The Deputy PM said: ‘I was delighted to spend the afternoon with pupils at Sacred Heart Primary School in Bushey and to learn more about the excellent 'Joy of moving' programme.’

The programme aims to inspire children to move through play and fun activities. It focuses on developing the key skills of physical fitness, motor coordination, cognitive functions and creativity, and life skills.
