Sr Elizabeth O’Donohoe HC, who has been a loyal and committed member of the Westminster Interfaith team for many years, recently received an award for furthering the cause of peace through interfaith dialogue and collaboration.
She was one of three recipients of an award of £500, presented by the organisers of the Week of Prayer for World Peace. The award was presented at an interfaith gathering held in the Quaker Meeting House.
Sr Elizabeth will use the money from the award to edit and reprint a book by Br Daniel Faivre SG, who died in 2007. Br Daniel worked for 28 years in Southall to promote harmony and understanding among different faith groups.
