On Sunday 16th August the Deaf Community were welcomed for the Feast of the Assumption at Sacred Heart Parish, Quex Road.
Fr Terry Murray OMI made the Deaf Community feel really included as the whole parish were encouraged to join in signing. The children and those who have previously been learning British Sign Language (BSL) at the parish were encouraged to sign the creed and with a bit of prompting from the interpreter, Fr Terry too joined in signing the chorus of the final hymn.
