A Special Concert for St Cecilia's Day

We are very pleased to announce that a Special Concert will be held in November in order to raise funds for the 2014 pilgrimage. The concert will be followed by the usual convivial reception which serves as our end-of-year party. We are delighted that His Grace, Archbishop Vincent Nichols, will be present for the evening.

We are very fortunate that the University College London Music Society will be performing for us once again and the concert will be conducted by Charles Peebles. The Symphony Chorus and Orchestra of UCLU Music Society are a magnificent group of young musicians.

The concert programme includes works by Britten and Mozart. We are lucky to be able to celebrate the centenary of Benjamin Britten’s birth and St Cecilia’s Day with his Hymn to St Cecilia. The concert will also feature one of Mozart’s most loved works, the Coronation Mass in C Major.

For further information and to purchase tickets, please call 0207 798 9173. Tickets for the concert are priced at £5 and £10 and tickets for the reception are priced at £10.
