The Cardinal’s Lenten Appeal 2019

‘For I was hungry and you gave me food’

Matthew 25:35

This Lent, your gifts will help support work in our parishes to alleviate food poverty in the short and long term. This includes the foodbanks and school holiday clubs, which people are turning to in growing numbers. With your support, we’ll be able to increase the grants we offer, enabling parishes to reach more families who may otherwise have to choose between keeping the lights on or eating that day. To find out more, click here.

The Cardinal is grateful to everyone who has generously supported the Cardinal’s Lenten Appeal since it was established in 2015. Each year, the Appeal helps support three vital pillars of the Church: Marriage and Family Life, Youth and Evangelisation, and Service in Society.

Please give as generously as you can.

To reach more people, we also need more volunteers. Ask your parish priest about volunteers needed in your own parish. Alternatively, click here to register for volunteering opportunities through Caritas Westminster.
