30th Anniversary Pilgrimage to Lourdes in 2020!

This year's Westminster's Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes is from 25th to 31st July 2020.  The Diocese is made up of over 200 Parishes, and each one can be represented amongst the hundreds of pilgrims travelling together this summer and there is much to celebrate.

HE Cardinal Vincent Nichols is leading Westminster's pilgrims on this milestone journey as it is 30 years since Cardinal Basil Hume led the first diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes.

Are you planning to travel independently? You must contact the Pilgrimage Office on 0207 798 9173 or email lourdes@rcdow.org.uk to inform organisers that you plan to join Westminster and be counted among the pilgrims attending this year.  The tour operator used by the Westminster Lourdes Pilgrimage is able to assist independent pilgrims and (parish) groups with choice and convenience of travel options and cost.

Booking forms and brochures can be sent to Parishes across the Diocese on request and are also available from the Pilgrimage Office or via this link.

Joyful 'Journeys in Hope' at Farm Street

January 2020

The charity art exhibition fundraiser titled ‘Journeys in Hope’ took place throughout January from the 6th  to the 30th culminating with a well-attended and successful auction evening. Artists' works on the themes of migration, journeying and pilgrimage were auctioned off by Adrian Biddell of Chiswick auction houses and a significant amount of funds were raised in support of the three nominated charities.

The art work may still be viewed on the website www.journeysinhope.com

The organisers and the artists wish to thank EVERYONE who supported the event, the generosity of all bidders and donors, and all who came to see the exhibition throughout the month of January.
