Engaged Encounter is the sister organisation of Worldwide Marriage Encounter . A movement within the Catholic Church which provides couples, who are engaged to be married, with a formal course in marriage preparation.
The design and content of their marriage preparation course follows the “Guidelines for the Preparation of Couples for Marriage” as set down by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of England & Wales 2016.
Engaged Encounter marriage preparation courses are now available in person at a weekend residential, or the option to join online via Zoom.
Couples receive a certificate of attendance for parish records.
