Lourdes Pilgrimage Package Details
Dates: Friday 17th July to Friday 24th July 2026
Important:
· Requests for date variations cannot be accepted.
· There is no ‘flight-only’, no ‘rail-only’ nor any ‘hotel-only’ option in 2026.
· Those travelling by rail must be mobile and capable of carrying their own luggage between transfers from the trains to the coaches.
Prices Include: international travel by air or by rail, transfers in France, full board accommodation on a room-sharing basis, and travel insurance arranged by the Pilgrimage Office with Tangney Tours. Those aged 96 or over at the time of the pilgrimage will need to make a separate application to Tangney Tours for assessing their travel insurance requirements. Also included is the Westminster Diocesan Lourdes Pilgrimage (WDLP) Levy of £50 payable separately on registration to RCDOW.
Pilgrim Package Prices are available on request for pilgrims who will be aged 17 years old and under (including infants under 2 years old) at the time of the pilgrimage.

No Supplement for Single Room occupancy (The St Frai is for Assisted Pilgrims only, by Lourdes Medical Team assessment).
The Accueil Marie St Frai Also known as the ‘St Frai’ or simply the ‘Accueil’ (meaning a place of welcome), is accommodation for Assisted Pilgrims. It provides 24-hour care lead by the Chief Brancardier and Handmaids, dedicated teams of Medical Professionals and Helpers to assist those who need support with medical conditions, and at times, a higher degree of care during their week in Lourdes. The building is shared with other pilgrimages, and is located on the main street leading down to the Sanctuary and the Grotto.
The Accueil is fully wheelchair and stretcher accessible, with bedrooms of up to six beds, and dining room and social area especially for Westminster’s Assisted Pilgrims.

UPDATE: The rail option is no longer available to book as all seats have been filled. This does not apply to groups that have already contacted the Pilgrimage Office. If in doubt, check with your group leader.
All bookings must be secured by a deposit of £250 per person payable to Tangney Tours.
All travellers need to be aware of the Entry and Exit System for non-EU passport holders. The European Union website also explains this new system which has been in place since October 2025.
