Join JVN for a comprehensive introduction to volunteering in the community.

Our volunteering department will take you through the basic steps to get started, from finding a suitable role to your first day, and all you need to know about how to deal with issues that may crop up along the way.

Topics will include:

  • What volunteering means
  • The charity landscape in the community
  • Issue to consider before starting to volunteer
  • What to ask in an interview
  • What is expected of volunteers
  • How to make it clear that you want to move on
  • Volunteering opportunities currently available
