Auxiliary Bishops

The Diocese of Westminster has four Auxiliary Bishops. 

Bishop John Sherrington was ordained Bishop in 2011. He is the titular Bishop of Hilta. He has responsibility for the parishes in North London and is Moderator of the Curia.

Bishop Nicholas Hudson was ordained Bishop in June 2014. He is the titular Bishop of St Germans. He has responsibility for the parishes in the central and eastern areas of the diocese, and he has oversight of the Agency for Evangelisation and the Youth Ministry.

Bishop Paul McAleenan was ordained Bishop in January 2016. He is the Titular Bishop of Mercia. He has responsibility for the parishes in Hertfordshire and oversight of Caritas Westminster. 

Bishop John Wilson was ordained Bishop in January 2016. He is the titular Bishop of Lindisfarne. He has responsibility for the parishes in the western area of the diocese and is Chair of the Education Commission.
