Latest information on the

Diocesan Pilgrimage to the Holy Land 2023

19th to 27th November 2023

Dear Pilgrims,

Please see the press statement below from Tangney Tours:

"Following on from the situation in Israel, we can confirm that Tangney Tours does not currently have any pilgrims in the Holy Land. We are in touch with our teams on the ground daily and are extending our support in any way we can.

We understand the situation will be concerning for those due to travel to the Holy Land in the near future.  Please rest assured that we are monitoring the situation closely and are following the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) guidelines.

On 8 October, the FCDO issued an update advising “against all but essential travel to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories”. It is important to note that this is current advice only and may change from day to day. For the latest travel advice, please visit: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/israel

We will be in touch with those who have booked a pilgrimage with us in due course, and we will issue further updates as the situation develops.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those who are affected."
