The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is the rite through which adults are received into the Catholic Church. RITE OF ELECTION AND MASS FOR NEW CATHOLICS 2025
Rite of Election 2025. All Deaneries to attend on one day.
Date: 8 March 2025
Time: 2:30pm
Location: Westminster Cathedral.
Mass for New Catholics 2025
Date: 10 May 2025
Time: 6:00pm
Location: Westminster Cathedral.
Before the Mass for New Catholics there will be refreshments and a talk for new Catholics and their guests from 4.30-5.45pm in Vaughan House, Francis Street, Westminster, after which we will walk to the Cathedral in time for the Mass.
RITE OF ELECTION AND MASS FOR NEW CATHOLICS 2024
In 2024 there was one celebration of the Rite of Election for all parishes on Saturday 17th February at 2.30pm in the Cathedral.
The Mass for New Catholics took place on Saturday 11th May at 6pm, in the Cathedral and was preceded by a reception and talk for new Catholics and their guests in Vaughan House, Westminster.
