Fifty parishioners from St Ignatius, Stamford Hill, undertook their famous annual charity walk on Sunday 28 April.  This year funds raised from this 10 mile sponsored walk will go to support the work of Catholic seafarers charity, the Apostleship of the Sea.

The youngest walker was just eight years old.  Accompanied by parish priest, Fr Peter Randall, the walk went from the church to the Olympic Village taking in the scenic route of the river Lea, then after refreshments of homemade cakes served everyone took the shlightly shorter walk five miles back to the parish.  Over the years this the parish has raisesd much needed funds for for good causes.
