We are excited to announce that we are holding a Refugee Volunteer Evening on 26 January 2016. This event is for anyone who wants to work with refugees, migrants and asylum seekers.
We have all seen the suffering of people who have been affected by the refugee crisis, and many of us want to find a way to help those in need.
At Caritas Westminster, we can help you to use your gifts and passions to reach out to refugees, migrants and asylum seekers living in your area.
Come along to the event for:
- Stalls from local organisations and projects working with migrants and refugees, including Ashford Place, Austin Forum, London Catholic Worker, and the Watford and Three Rivers Refugee Partnership
- A panel discussion with people who have first-hand experience of working with migrants and refugees, including Louise Zanre JRS UK, Sister Christine Neighbours in Poplar and Michaela Costello Guardian Angels
- Information on starting your own project
- A chance to meet other volunteers.
Everyone is welcome!
