Mr Tissot said, ‘Our extremely good examination results and conversion to Academy status make this a double celebration. Our partnership with other schools in the Cardinal Hume Academies Trust will help us to continue our upward trajectory.’ Charlotte, Head Girl added, ‘I am pleased that Academy status will allow our Catholic ethos to remain at the heart of the school.’ John, Head Boy who is planning to study Economics at the London School of Economics said, ‘I think that being an Academy will give us access to greater funding opportunities, which can only be for the good of the school.’
