Following from Archbishop Nichols’ exploration last week of ‘What is Faith and how do we believe?’, Rev. Dr Andrew Pinsent gave the second of the Faith Matters lectures on 6 November 2012 at Westminster Cathedral Hall. Dr Pinsent spoke on the topic of ‘Faith, Science and the Human Person’.
In his lecture Dr Pinsent spoke of belief in God in the modern age, the misconception about religion being inheritently incompatible with science in the modern age and went on to consider the relationship between science, faith and philosophy.
The next Faith Matters Lecture is 13 November and is on the topic of Faith and the Psychologists by Professor Rachel Blass.
