A new foodbank, supported by Caritas, has already begun its good work in the local community. The Foodbank is located in the borough of Tower Hamlets, which has the highest rate of child poverty in London (42%). It is the second most deprived borough in London and is the third most deprived borough nationally.

The primary objective of the Bow Foodbank is to:

  • create a community, which is free from hunger by providing food to those who go hungry and are vulnerable.
  • provide related support by working together with other organisations, the government and the community.

  • offer other services to eliminate poverty and to improve wellbeing in the local community.

Your ongoing continued support to Growing in Faith is making this project and many others possible. Please continue to keep those in most need in your prayers.
