Every year in June pilgrims from different parts of the country gather together in Walsingham for the annual Vocations Pilgrimage. This is a day of prayer, procession and adoration for men and women of all ages to join together in prayer before Our Lady of Walsingham in the intention of an increase in vocations to the priesthood, consecrated life and marriage. Some pilgrims every year are themselves discerning their own vocation while some are there to pray for others. The pilgrimage has been organised for the last 36 years by the Salvatorian fathers and always attracts several hundred pilgrims. This year’s pilgrimage is on Saturday 16 June – the feast of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. We will be organising a coach from London (cost £10). If you would like more information and would like to book a seat on the coach, please contact Fr Richard at richardnesbitt@rcdow.org.uk or phone 02073495624.
