Maybe you are a couple who have been dating for a while but need more time to reflect and to really understand better just what Christian marriage really means before you can commit the rest of your lives to each other. Or maybe you are currently single seeking your “other half” but perhaps not 100% sure that this is indeed God’s will for you. Wherever you are on your journey, if you feel that God is calling you sooner or later to marriage and want to know more, then you are warmly invited to a special retreat day on Saturday December 1st at the Carmelite priory in Kensington.

The day will be led by Edmund Adamus, director of the Westminster Diocese office for Marriage and Family Life. Couples and singles already walking this path will share their own testimonies and we will explore the great riches of Catholic teaching on marriage from the scriptures through the medieval mystics to Blessed John Paul II and Pope Benedict in the present day. The day will begin with Mass at 10am and end with adoration at 4pm. There will also be plenty of time to socialise over mouth-watering food and live music.

In this Year of Faith, join others in faith who are seeking God’s deepest will for our lives. It is essential to register in advance as places are limited. To register, email Catherine MacGillivray at cathmacgillivray@rcdow.org.uk or phone: 020 7931 6064
