Our Lady and St Joseph Primary School Receives Recognition in Building Awards

Our Lady and St Joseph Catholic Primary School and the St Francis Children's Centre have received a high commendation at the British Construction Industry 2015 Awards Event in the Building Project of the Year category. They were also a finalist in the Sustainability category. The school and children’s centre were designed by the Green Tea Architects and constructed by 8build.



The new school was built was formed following the merger of two local catholic schools, Our Lady Catholic Primary School and Holy Family Catholic Primary School. Cardinal Vincent said Mass and the opening, and spoke to the students about Laudato Si. St Francis Children’s Centre, run by The Catholic Children's Society in Westminster will also be in the building. The Catholic Children’s Society offers a nursey and many other facilities for parents and children of low income families such as after school clubs and day trips out of London.
