Following the appointment of Bishop Alan Hopes to the See of East Anglia, Archbishop Vincent Nichols is happy to announce the appointment of two new Episcopal Vicars within the diocese.
- Monsignor Jim Curry has been appointed Episcopal Vicar with particular pastoral responsibility for the deaneries of: Hammersmith and Fulham; Kensington and Chelsea; and North Kensington. He will also attend meetings of the West London Church Leaders.
- Father Christopher Vipers has been appointed Episcopal Vicar with particular pastoral responsibility for the deaneries of: Ealing; Hillingdon; Hounslow and Upper Thames. He will also have responsibility for Young Adults of the West.
- Both Monsignor Curry and Father Vipers celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation in the parishes of those deaneries for which they have particular pastoral responsibility.
- Bishops John Arnold, John Sherrington and Nicholas Hudson and will continue to have particular pastoral responsibilities for the same deaneries as previously.
