For the first time in a number of years, the Augustinians (OSA) in Britain solemnly professed two men in training for the priesthood. Arthur Bolivar, a former nurse, and Gladson Dabre, formerly a social worker, made their final vows before Fr Robert Marsh OSA, Provincial of England and Scotland.

The ceremony took place at St Monica’s Church, Hoxton Square, London, at the Saturday 6.30pm vigil Mass on 5 August. A crowded church witnessed the event, followed by a reception the school hall.
Brothers Arthur and Gladson plan to be ordained deacons as the next stage on their journey towards priesthood.

In the meantime, David Tan,will be entering the Augustinian international English-speaking novitiate in the United States later this month.
