Cardinal Cormac Murphy-O’Connor gave ‘Pause for Thought’ on BBC Radio 2’s Chris Evans breakfast show on Wednesday 16 April.

In his reflection Cardinal Cormac reflected on the human suffering and pain we face in our lives and how as we approach Good Friday we can reflect on Jesus’s death on the Cross; his feeling of being forsaken, but also his ultimate trust in God.

Cardinal Cormac also spoke to Zoe Ball, who was standing in for Chris Evans, about his time as Bishop of Arundel and Brighton from 1977 to 2000.
