Bishop Nicholas Hudson visited St Peter and St Paul Primary School, Clerkenwell, on Wednesday 17th September to bless the newly created Nursery. Present also were the Diocesan Director of Education, Mr Peter Sweeney; Fr Jan Nowotnik, Parochial Administrator of St Mary Moorfields and St Joseph’s, Bunhill Row; Fr Andrea Fulco, Parish Priest of St Peter’s Italian Church, Clerkenwell; governors, parents and teachers.
Bishop Nicholas reminded those assembled that 'the Nursery is very important to the school since it is there that foundations are laid for the child’s development. Of course, the most important foundation we lay is a relationship with Christ – and prayer; which makes it most appropriate that we launch the new Nursery with a prayer of blessing for all those who will benefit from this wonderful addition to the School.'
