Our parishes desire to welcome and include people with dementia as well as their carers. Training workshops run as part of the ‘Welcome Me as I Am’ project help us to do this in a sensitive and loving way alongside the national initiative on dementia-friendly communities. Each participant can be a 'dementia friend' if they wish.
