As part of its tour of England, Westminster Diocese will host the Jubilee Icon in December 2025. So that it may be seen by as many as possible, it is being arranged for it to be taken to a number of ‘Places of Hope’ in the diocese.
While the itinerary of the Jubilee Icon Tour is still in development, the agreed plan so far is below.
Monday 8 December: Icon arrives in the Diocese from Middlesbrough Diocese.
Tuesday 9 December: Vaughan House, Westminster.
Wednesday 10 December: St Mary’s University and St Margaret's parish, (Twickenham).
Thursday 11 December: Our Lady of the Rosary parish, (Staines-upon-Thames).
Friday 12 December: St Alban’s Cathedral:
The Icon will be displayed during the weekly Catholic Mass in the Cathedral at 12 noon.
Saturday 13 December: St Elizabeth Centre, (Much Hadham, near Bishop’s Stortford).
Sunday 14 December: St Joseph’s parish, (Bishop’s Stortford).
Monday 15 December: St Joseph’s Primary & St Mary’s Secondary (Bishop’s Stortford).
Tuesday 16 December: Nazareth House, (East Finchley).
Wednesday 17 December: Caritas St Joseph’s (Hendon).
Thursday 18 December: Bishop Challoner School.
Friday 19 December: to be confirmed.
Saturday 20 December: Notre Dame, Leicester Square.
Sunday 21 December: Queensway parish and the Ethiopian Chaplaincy.
Monday 22 December: Icon to be formally received at the Cathedral.
Monday 22- Saturday 27 December: Westminster Cathedral.
