Serving at the altar allows, in a privileged way, young and old alike to draw closer to Jesus, to be open to him and to others. Through this ministry, the altar server journeys together with others, learning to set demanding goals and finding strength to achieve them.
Servers and their ministry at Mass – Altar Servers represent a long liturgical tradition, exercising their ministry within the assembly and enhance the quality of celebration, ensuring that all requisites for the celebration are available at the appropriate moments.
