On Saturday 27 September, Pope Francis sent Cardinal Vincent greetings on the occasion of the Feast Day of St Vincent de Paul:
I am pleased to send warm greetings to you and the assurance of my prayers as you celebrate the feast of your heavenly patron, Saint Vincent de Paul. Through his intercessions may our Lord Jesus Christ fill you with his joy and his peace, and as a pledge of communion in the Lord, I cordially impart to you my Apostolic Blessing.
