In an interview with The Sunday Telegraph, published on 1August 2010 Archbishop Vincent Nichols has spoken about the relationship between the Catholic Church and government, the need to rebuild communities based on mutual support and genuine care and his hopes for the forthcoming State visit of Pope Benedict XVI to the UK.
In the Bishop Dunn Memorial Lecture given on Tuesday 15 May 2012, at Ushaw College, Durham, the Most Reverend Vincent Nichols, Archbishop of Westminster, called on all Catholics to think about how best to express their faith in their lives today.
Archbishop Vincent Nichols was present at a Royal Gala Dinner hosted by the Constantinian Order on evening of Saturday 28 July 2012 to mark the beginning of the 2012 Olympic Games. Here the Archbishop witnessed nine statesmen from across the world become members of the Sacred Military Constantinian Order of St George and the Royal Order of Francis I. The Grand Master of the Order, HRH Prince Carlo of Bourbon Two Sicilies, Duke of Castro presided.
