It's that time of the year again, folks.   The diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes begins next week.

Check this blog for a day by day account of how we're getting on at the Shrine.

Okay, it's Sunday evening and I'm now in Lourdes after a long journey.   I've travelled down with the group from Heston Parish and we stayed overnight in Paray le Monial, where Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque received the apparitions of the Sacred Heart.   We were even able to celebrate Mass in the chapel where some of the visons happened.   It's a lovely place and well worth a visit.

Our pilgrimage begins properly tomorrow and the first Mass is in the Rosary Basilica.   I'll tell you all about it afterwards, and hope to have some pictures for you as well.

Right now, though, it's time for bed.   Night-night . . .
