In this Year of St Joseph, what can the Patron of the Dying teach us about how to have a Happy Death?
An online roundtable is being organised by the Agency for Evangelisation in collaboration with St Joseph's Hospice, Hackney and the Centre for the Art of Dying Well at St Mary's University to take place on Thursday 17th June, 7.00pm to 8.30pm.
The evening will address questions around the subject of end of life care:
- How do hospices care for people living with a life-limiting condition at home, in the community and in the hospice setting?
- What can we learn from this care if we are accompanying a loved one at home?
- What about hospitals?
- What about good end of life care for people with a learning disability?
Join the discussion on what promises to be an informative evening featuring a panel consisting of Bishop john Sherrington, Sr Rita Dawson MBE, Edward McGuigan and Professor Julia Riley. For more information and to book a place, please go to Eventbrite
Update! Registration extended to 15th June.
