Choosing a programme
There are many successful adult faith formation programmes to choose from. Although they are not a direct recipe for success they offer some starting points or other options in developing a more comprehensive adult faith formation plan in your parish.
Some programmes are more systematic than others. Some can be done by following an easy step by step approach and some will demand a more creative approach. In selecting a programme for your own parish it is important to be creative and to adapt the programme for your own parish needs and resources.

Agency for Evangelisation resources:
Launched in Lent 2009 “Faith Matters” is a bi-annual lecture series on the Catholic faith and life in today’s world. It is the fruit of a collaboration between the Agency for Evangelisation and the Mount St Jesuit Centre.
Held in the spring and autumn the lectures are open to all, whether you are enquiring about the Catholic Faith for the first time or looking to explore it in more depth. Following each lecture there is an opportunity to submit any questions and, after the lecture, to continue the debate via an internet discussion forum.
You may want to take things further and to pursue a more formal course of studies. The following pages detail some of the options which may be open to you. There are many ways to learn and you can choose the one that is best for you.
