Finding Volunteers

Recruiting volunteers can be quite a challenge. Finding those who are appropriately qualified and going through the necessary background checks can seem burdensome. In these pages we will consider such topics as the recruitment, formation, training and placement of volunteers. We will also look at the management of expectations as well as the evaluation and monitoring of a volunteer’s work. Moreover, we will look at the key question of volunteer retention and the recognition of their gifts.
