Director of Music Hampstead

A Director of Music is required for the parish of St Mary’s in Hampstead

The Director’s principal duties are to co-ordinate and lead the adult choir in rehearsing and performing musical performances at the Sunday 11.30am Mass, Christmas, Holy Week and Easter, as well as playing the organ at the Sunday 6.30pm Mass

The successful candidate will have experience of choral directing.  Ideally this experience will have been gained within a Catholic context, but this is not essential – what is essential is knowledge of and sympathy with Catholic liturgical ethos.  The church welcomes applications from organists with choral directing experience.
