    Guardian Angels Parish Eastertide Talks

    There will be five Monday evening talks on 'Five more saints facing critical challenges in the life of the Church' followed by Q&A sessions, beginning from Monday 29th April and ending on Monday 27th May.

    Talk for today will be given by Prof John Finnis DPhil FBA on St Thomas More and the crises of fideism.

    Access to Guardian Angels Parish Hall is though the main entrance to Guardian Angels School in Lawton Road, off the Mile End Road, E3 4QS. The School is located behind Guardian Angels Parish Church which is on the Mile End Road, just west of the Mile End Park Bridge over the road.

    Caritas Westminster invites you to an evening of practical suggestions for how your parish can respond to the environmental crisis. There will be contributions from local and national organisations including CAFOD, CaFE, the Felix Project and more.     The Caritas Volunteer Service will be holding its annual Volunteers’ Fair showcasing volunteering opportunities from across the Diocese.     Since 1993 Grade 1 listed Clare Priory, Clare, Suffolk has been hosting a Craft Fair on the second full weekend in July. This has grown steadily to become a very popular event, and now receives around 10,000 visitors over the two days. All proceeds are donated to local, national and international charities.

    The fair is held in the 14th century priory and its grounds set next to Clare Castle Country Park, in the beautiful historic medieval town of Clare on the banks of River Stour. Admission one day: Adults £5, Seniors £4, accompanied under-16s go free. Admission for both days: Adults £8, Seniors £6. For further details, visit www.clarepriory.org.uk.
