YOU BELIEVE – SUMMER EDITION!

The final You Believe event before the summer vacation will take place on Tuesday 25 June, 7pm at Somers Town (Euston). Bishop John Sherrington is leading the celebration and he is looking forward to meeting young adults in the very heart of the Year of Faith.

Among those expected at this You Believe are young pilgrims who are making final preparations for their journeys to the Rio World Youth Day or to Lourdes in France. In fact, each year many hundreds of young people are involved in pilgrimages of one sort or another, and this year World Youth Day brings a very special message at the heart of the Year of Faith, ‘Go make disciples of all nations!’ World Youth Day will also be the first international trip for Francis, our new pope.

The theme of this You Believe will be ‘Communion of Saints’. It promises to be a celebration of those who have been pilgrims before us and with us, shining lights for the People of God, as we make our journey through the world of time and history, accompanied by God’s grace and the Holy Spirit. We will look to those who have renewed their faith and the faith of others by responding to the call to holiness and living lives of heroic virtue.

You Believe is open to all and there is no need to register or book. The Centre for Youth Ministry is located at 20 Phoenix Road (NW1 1TA) right next to London Euston.

Tuesday 25 June, 7-9pm, with Bishop Sherrington. (The next You Believe after this will be after the summer break, on 17 September).
