Andrew O’Neill, Headteacher of All Saints Catholic College, has been selected by the judges of the Pearson National Teaching Awards to receive the prestigious award of Secondary Headteacher of the Year, for his transformational leadership at the college. Run by the Teaching Awards Trust, the Pearson National Teaching Awards were set up to celebrate the impact of invaluable education within the UK.

Andrew’s inspiration and dedication has transformed the old Sion Manning Catholic Girls School, that was at risk of closure, into the thriving and oversubscribed All Saints Catholic College, which has also recently been identified by Ofsted as Outstanding.

Peter Sweeney, Director of Education for the Diocese of Westminster congratulated Andrew, saying that ‘Andrew's belief and commitment to the All Saints Catholic College community has transformed the lives and opportunities for so many young people and families, for which we, and I am sure they, will be forever grateful.’
