'Thy Kingdom Come'

Join the global wave of prayer

25th May - 4th June 2017

'Thy Kingdom Come' is a global prayer movement, which invites Christians around the world to pray between Ascension and Pentecost for more people to come to know Jesus Christ. What started out as an invitation from the Archbishop of Canterbury and York in 2016 to the Church of England has grown into an international and ecumenical call to prayer.

‘To have a week of prayer for Christian mission is just a wonderful thing.  Please do join in before Pentecost, this drive to pray together for the gift of God’s spirit for our mission. We know how rich Pentecost is in the life of the church from its very beginning. That richness can be ours too - if we ask God for it.’

Cardinal Vincent Nichols, Cardinal Archbishop of Westminster,

Joint President of the Council of Churches for England
